First Positive from a negative, depicts myself dressed as a ghost in a sheet holding my cat. Exposed for about an hour Second Negative to a positive, slightly more developed than first and different details more visible. Exposed for about an hour and a half. Underdeveloped attempt at a Cliche Verre, didnt fully rinse out the developing solution and developed what was left.

This Landscape collage is called Live and Breath Capitalism It is a hill gradation made up of food packaging to give some criticism of how consumer product production is taking priority over preserving the environment. It is inspired by the works of Hannah Hoch and Robert Rauschenberg who both made collages out of clippings that have a massage of social criticism.

Being of Letters and Code Felt letters and numbers on newsprint, 12x 18 inches This piece represents to me how people in modern society are so made up of a digital image of ourselves that that actual words used to describe us can be hidden in shadow. It is inspired by Henri Matisse and his collage art work called The Cut Outs and his method of using bold solid colours and his heavy use of royal blue. I like his smooth curved figures and I wanted to make a piece that was reminiscent of his while including more basic detail and shadow.
